Remember that Registration for Westwood is open to the public as of March 1st, 2004. Remember to register early to reserve the place for your child for the upcoming school year. Registration forms are coming in quickly and we want to plan to have everyone a place. We expect another year of growth and we want you to be a part of it! A Note from our Headmaster
Webster's Dictionary defines character as "moral strength or weakness; a special way in which a person feels, thinks, and acts; moral firmness, self-control or integrity."
I believe
this definition describes the faculty, staff and student body of Westwood
School. When the tornado hit C
amilla
last Thursday, the faculty and students spent Friday working to help the
survivors of the tornado. Entire classes and individual small groups went
out into the community distributing food and water and packing up the
debris that littered our community.
At the end of school on Friday, many were tired, but all were thankful to have played a small part in the clean-up operation. This, I truly believe, reveals the true character of our faculty and students. They were a volunteer force for good and I know God will bless each of them for their efforts.
