Headmaster

Ross Worsham is the headmaster at Westwood Schools. He comes to Westwood with a wide range of experience in discipline, teaching and coaching. He is also our Head Football Coach and his motto is "Do Right."

Westwood is truly a school where "every child can be a winner." We work to make sure that our campus is safe and that students learn the importance of academic excellence and participating in a wide variety of sports and extra curricular activities.

From State sporting trophies to literary to international computer awards, Westwood distinguishes itself as a "Best All Around" type of school where students can participate in sports if they wish and learn the self discipline of participating in many activities.

My two sons are here as students and I am personally and professionally committed to keeping Westwood at the "top of it's game."

About Ross Worsham

Coach Worsham graduated in 1984 from Mitchell-Baker High School and graduated from Georgia Southern with a Masters of Education in Sports Science. In 2009, he received certification in Administration and Supervision from Valdosta State University.

Coach Worsham is married to the former Donna Dorsey, a Westwood alumnus. They have two sons, Mason and Chason who are students presently enrolled at Westwood.
