Elementary Dress Code

The current dress code reads as follows;

"It is important that your child be dressed comfortably but neatly. Please keep in mind that each day your child participates in physical education; therefore, practical clothes must be worn. Tennis shoes must be worn during physical education, no flip-flops or cleats. Please leave caps and hats at home. Shirttails must be tucked in. In upper elementary, third-fifth, shorts can be no higher than 6 inches above the top of the knee. No tank tops please."

Note the special requirements by grade below:

• All children must wear tennis shoes at P.E., which are necessary for safety.
• No caps allowed.
• No flip flops.

K3, K4, and K5

• Must wear tennis shoes only.
• collared shirts tucked in are encouraged but not required.

1st and 2nd

• Collared shirts tucked in pants or shorts with a belt are required.
• Westwood t-shirts may be worn on Fridays.

3rd-5th

• Collared shirts tucked in pants or shorts with a belt are required.
• Girls shorts must be at mid-thigh or below.
• Westwood t-shirts may be worn on Fridays.
